what I believe
Quiet is a feature.
Most products compete for attention. The best ones don't — you close them because the job is done.
The surface problem is rarely the real one.
The brief is usually a layer over something truer. Research earns the right to change it — I start with the question, but I'm not loyal to it.
The hardest moment is the test.
A product proves itself when someone reaches for it depleted, not when they're fresh.
Community is continuity.
Getting people in the room is easy; almost nothing is designed for what happens after. The problem isn't connection, it's continuity.
The body is context.
Most wellness tech is designed for a sedentary body. A performing artist doesn't need another notification — the real work happens off the screen.
what I'm building toward
I design for people who move — performers, athletes — and the organizations behind them. The mainstream got it wrong: wellness tech that's loud and addictive.
I'm drawn to calm technology — made to be used less, not more. If your success metric is engagement, we'll probably disagree.
Target: calm-tech companies, performer-wellness startups, cultural organizations, and studios building intentional tools for movement.
